The room was really comfy and clean, with a nice, fresh smell. The bed was perfect, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. we loved the little touches like homemade cookies and fresh milk. Just a bit of dust on some furniture, but nothing major. a cozy spot to relax after a day out.

the stapylton arms is such a great place! the staff were super friendly and gave us a warm welcome. we loved the rustic vibe and the location was perfect for a nice stroll. breakfast was delish, with big portions and the coffee was a nice touch. the homemade cookies in our room were a sweet surprise after a wet walk! bed was really comfy too.
the only issue was that the shower took a bit to get the temp right and we wished for a longer stay!

The location boasts an exceptionally peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by lovely countryside perfect for scenic strolls. The quality of the evening meal leaves a strong impression, with fresh ingredients used in every dish, making for a delightful dining experience.
The double room felt cramped, lacking sufficient space to maneuver comfortably. Breakfast timing is quite restrictive, only serving from 8:45 am to 9:30 am. this made it inconvenient for early travelers like us. The pillows seemed a bit lumpy, and one duvet cover had a minor tear, while some bedding had visible stains, making it feel less pristine than it could be.

The pub had a quaint charm with cozy atmospheres, and I loved the friendly staff who made the experience enjoyable. The food was mostly great, particularly the seafood pie, but I was disappointed that they didn't allow dogs, which could be a drawback for pet owners.

Delicious food and warm hospitality
Our stay was delightful, with exceptionally friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The meals were fantastic, especially the generous breakfast that featured homemade preserves and perfectly cooked eggs. The cozy atmosphere and rustic decor added to our experience, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. One aspect that could be improved is the limited seating options in the lounge area, which made it a bit crowded at times.

Spent a night here for a wedding and wow, what a gem! The room was super comfy, clean, and those homemade cookies were a nice touch. Breakfast was top-notch too! The staff went above and beyond, even offering us a lift back to our car. Only thing? The village was a bit quiet for my taste, but still lovely.
